How to Make

DRIED SOURDOUGH STARTER 

INGREDIENTS 

Active sourdough starter fed within 4 to 6 hours of the dehydration process.

Equipment 

– Parchment paper – Baking sheet – Offset spatula – Blender or spice grinder – Large airtight container such as a glass jar with a lid or a ziplock bag – Bowl scraper 

Step 

Spread a thin layer of the active sourdough starter across the parchment paper.

Step 

Allow active sourdough starter to dry out for about 24 to 48 hours.

Step 

Store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.
