You can definitely elevate your game by using homemade butter in this recipe, as I do. It is simple to make and is absolutely delicious! Making homemade butter brings the butter flavor to a whole new level. For a festive touch, I like to pipe it through a decorative tip, which always looks beautiful on my holiday tables or for any special occasions.

Ingredients for Homemade Honey Butter

½ cup (1 stick) homemade butter softened (or store-bought unsalted butter)

⅓ cup pure honey (we use local raw honey for the best honey flavor)

¼ teaspoon fine sea salt (optional, to taste)

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for a warm twist)

Cinnamon Honey Butter Recipe

STEP 1:  Let your cold butter sit at room temperature until soft but not melted. Add the softened butter to the bottom of the bowl of a stand mixer (or you can use a hand mixer) beat on medium-high until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).

STEP 2: Drizzle in the sweet honey, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Continue whipping for another 1–2 minutes until fully combined and airy.

STEP 3: Spoon or pipe into a jar or ramekin. Serve this delicious butter immediately, or cover with plastic wrap or place in an airtight container and refrigerate.
